This amber ale strikes a delicate balance between toasty, biscuit-like malt flavors in harmony with an earthy hop freshness. Considered to be an excellent "crowd pleaser" type beer, with enough flavor for craft beer lovers, but without the extreme flavors that turn off the BMC crowd.

Excellent Regardless of Experience

I used this kit to dial in my favorite recipe for a Belgian ale and I still use it as a base kit. We are not IPA or strong hop enthusiasts so I dial it back a bit to make it less bitter. The grain and LME combination is virtually foolproof, so a great beginner's kit, but those of us with experience will enjoy the quick fermentation, drinkability and less complicated process with this kit. I hope it never goes away, but at least I have the recipe. It's convenient to order with everything ready to go.

Kit came quickly after ordering and had everything included as advertised. For some reason the website isn’t working for us. Doesn’t recognize our address which is an issue that we haven’t experienced with any other company. Staff was extremely helpful and assisted us both times we made an order so it wasn’t a huge deal. Brewed the beer a couple days ago and waiting patiently to taste the results. We had previously brewed the Hipster IPA and it turned out fantastic. Looking forward to trying another style next time we order.
